We had recently moved away and were back to visit my daughter. It had been a couple of years. Golden Palace had always been our go to place for Chinese food and Suishi. What a pleasant surprise. Service and food were still excellent and exceptional. We love Golden Palace in Moraga, California !!! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want great Chinese food in a comfortable atmosphere.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted kindly and seated to my liking. Very good customer service, my water was never empty. as soon as I was seated they gave me soup which was delicious! I got the spicy tuna tempura roll and it was amazing. I will be back!!

Many times if you see a restaurant advertising multiple different cuisines, that's bad news. That's very much NOT true with Golden Palace--their Chinese, Japanese, and sushi is all really great. And their staff are all consistently a pleasure to spend some time with. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The menu is just chock full of amazing dishes. I like that they offer both Chinese and Japanese food. Eating tempura with Kung Pow is my favorite thing ever! The servers are usually happy and helpful. I usually tip big for their excellent service. I appreciate them being open all day, too! Try their Wor Won ton soup for a fun treat.

Been going to this neighborhood sushi place for years, they just recently added omakase menu - tried today, it was delicious and super fresh fish/seafood from Japan. So excited to be able to have omakase near home.

Golden Palace Continues to bring fresh ingredients and a new and improved special Sushi menu. The service is consistently good and attentive. The ambiance is casual and good for families. Great spot for a business lunch meeting.

Pretty good sushi spot in Moraga! My friend and I were craving sushi and decided to come here, was not disappointed! Service was great, everyone was so attentive and kind the entire dinner. Also the vibe of the place is nice and simple, good place to eat dinner. We got crab cheese puffs, miso soup, and a roll each for dinner. Crab cheese puffs: 5/5 - very tasty! A go-to appetizer because they're simple and tasty. These were great, fried well and had a delicious flavor. Totally get these if you don't know what appetizer to start with! Miso soup: 4/5 - this soup was good but a little bit too salty. I like that they had real shaved bonito in the soup, added a lot of flavor but it may have made it slightly too salty. Wish there was a little more tofu but overall really good too! Spicy Tuna Roll: 4/5 - really good! Quality was great and the tuna was very flavorful. Rice was not dry and the roll was balanced. I do wish it was a little bit bigger but it's ok since we ordered other food too! Tempura Roll: 5/5 - this is the roll my friend god, she really liked it! Shrimp was tasty and fried well and she said it was very satisfying and that she would order it again. Overall our experience at golden palace was great! We definitely want to return when I visit her again. The menu had a lot of Chinese dishes so that will be what we tackle next! This is our kids' favorite restaurant. Because they offer cotton candy to kids after lunch It's our go to place for Chinese food. There is no MSG, big portions and yummy food. Staff is very attentive and polite.
